What Types of Mailing Boxes are there?

There are 3 types of Mailing boxes that you can buy from Awesome Pack, they are:

1. Die cut Mailing Boxes or often called Gift boxes which you can fold into a box and sealing the top with some packing tape. Awesome Pack have these in White or Pink.
2. Self Sealing Mailing Boxes which has the same construction as the above die cut box but it has a few advantages as it doesn’t need tape to seal the box, easy opening by your customer by simply pulling the red strip and it contains a double adhesive strip for easy returns
3. Regular Slotted Cardboard (RSC) or often referring to as a moving box. This type of box can be used in eCommerce or a moving/storage box, it required tape to seal both ends to secure the package. 

What type of box is best suited for eCommerce?

Are Awesome Pack’s Mailing Boxes Recyclable, Biodegradable or Compostable?

Short answer is Yes. Let us break it down for you. Is it recyclable? Yes, because all paper based products are recyclable meaning you can throw it with all your other paper products in the Yellow Bin for the council to collect. Is it Biodegradable or Compostable? All paper products are biodegradable as they are plant derivatives and in terms of being compostable yes but the mailing box would be better suited to be recycled to give it a new life and to be reused. So overall it is a renewable resource and it is considered as eco-friendly packaging.

What is the Best way to Ship Books and Calendars?
